Belknap County is comprised of ten towns and one city. The Belknap County Democratic Committee is committed to supporting local Democratic committees in each of these communities.

Local Committees in Context

Local Democratic Committees form the necessary foundation for county, regional and state Democratic Politics. Their role is described in the "Constitution of the Democratic Party of New Hampshire," Chapter Eight:

The organization of the Democratic Party at the local level will be ensured through city committees, town committees, and ward committees ("local committees") to act within their respective jurisdictions.
